1. WILL CAMPBELL (LSU) 6’6” 320 LBS.
Campbell came in right away as a true freshman in 2022 and has been the team's starting left tackle since. Campbell is very technically sound with his hand placement, footwork, and awareness in pass protection. Has strong grip strength that can move defenders in the run game. He is a good athlete but not elite in that area and has trouble with speed rushers at times.
2023 STATS: RB – 84.9 PB – 77.9
2. KELVIN BANKS (TEXAS) 6’4” 324 LBS.
Banks was a five-star recruit and that came in and started right away with the Longhorns. Banks has good size and appears to have very good length. An athletic tackle with very good movement skills. Banks will battle Campbell to be OT1 in this draft. He gets in trouble overextending and lunging and gets off balance.
2023 STATS: RB – 70 PB – 86.6
3. WYATT MILUM (WEST VIRGINIA) 6’6” 317 LBS.
Milum was a top recruit for West Virginia and was the team's starting right tackle earning freshman all-American in 2021. He kicked over to left tackles and has not given up a sack since. He is an easy mover who thrives in pass pro but also does a good job as a run blocker. Finished 2nd in the nation with 89.6 grade in true pass pro sets.
2023: RB – 76.5 PB – 82.3
4. ARMAND MEMBOU (MISSOURI) 6’3” 314 LBS.
Membou was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and rated as a guard. He played as a true freshman in 11 games with five starts at right tackle. Started 13 games in 2023 for the Tigers and put together a good season. He is the most athletic lineman in this draft class. He also shows very good strength and drives defenders off the ball. He could be asked to kick inside at the next level.
2023 STATS: RB – 64.4 PB – 75.9
5. JOSH SIMMONS (OHIO STATE) 6’5” 310 LBS.
Simmons was a four-star recruit as an interior offensive lineman coming out of high school in 2021. He red-shirted in 2021 but started all 13 at right tackle for San Diego State. In 2023 he transferred to Ohio State and played all 13 games. An athletic tackle with good footwork.
2023 STATS: RB – 65.8 PB – 71.9
6. EARNEST GREENE (GEORGIA) 6’4” 320 LBS.
Greene was the #2 IOL recruit in 2022 and was listed at 330 lbs. in high school. He started all 14 games at left tackle for the Bulldogs in 2023 after redshirting in 2022. I was surprised at how well he moved for his size. Has good feet in pass pro and can pull and block out in space. I think Green could also kick inside and play guard.
2023 STATS: RB – 58.8 PB – 70.1
7. JOSH CONERLY (OREGON) 6’4” 305 LBS.
Conerly was one of the most coveted recruits as the number one offensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting class. He became the team's starting left tackle as a sophomore and earned honorable mention PAC-12. He has a lot of areas he needs to improve in. Would like to see him improve his hand placement, sustain, and finish blocks as well. We think he is an exceptional athlete but needs to get stronger and work on his technique.
2023 STATS: RB – 64.6 PB – 78.8
8. JACK NELSON (WISCONSIN) 6’7” 312 LBS.
This will be Nelsons third year in our pre-season rankings. He was the team's starting right guard as a redshirt freshman in 2021. He kicked over to left tackle in 2022. He is one of the better pass protectors in this draft. Nelson performed better year in 2022 than in 2023. One of the most penalized players a season ago with 13.
2023 STATS: RB – 68.4 PB – 75.6
9. EMORY JONES (LSU) 6’5” 322 LBS.
Jones will be entering his third year as the team’s starting right tackle. He has been a starter since he was a true freshman. Jones is a power player with a mean streak. He is a solid athlete with good grip strength that can move defenders off the ball. He loses balance and struggles with speed at times.
2023 STATS: RB – 73.7 PB – 71.7
10. TREY ZUHN (TEXAS A&M) 6’6” 315 LBS.
Zuhn was a four-star tackle in the 2021 class that red-shirted his 1styear. Started at left tackle 11 games in 2022 and all 13 games in 2023. He continues to show improvement. He has good technique and is a natural knee-bender. Shows good movement skills and does a good job sliding and mirroring.
2023 STATS: RB – 70.1 PB – 77.1
11. RILEY MAHLMAN (WISCONSIN) 6’8” 313 LBS.
Mahlman red-shirted in 2021 and became the starting right tackle in 2022. He started six games and missed six with an ankle injury. He showed improvement in 2023. A big tackle that showed good movement skills and patience in pass protection. Was a solid run blocker who understands angles and at times moved defenders in the run game.
2023 STATS: RB – 73.1 PB – 76.6
12. BLAKE MILLER (CLEMSON) 6’6” 310 LBS.
Miller is entering his third year as the starting right tackle. He started as a true freshman earning freshman all-American in 2022. His movement skills immediately jump out. Has a quick kick slide, can pull and take out moving targets, and does a good job sliding and mirroring. I would like to see him show more awareness in pass protection and better balance. Needs to continue to get stronger to reach his full potential.
2023 STATS: RB – 72.9 PB – 73.2
13. ANTHONY BELTON (NC STATE) 6’5” 336 LBS.
Belton started his career at Georgia Military Academy before enrolling at North Carolina State in 2021. Belton has started 21 games at left tackle for the Wolfpack. Belton was someone we had on here a year ago, and we still have some of the same questions that we had on him then. He has a lot of natural ability for a player of his size, but his footwork and hand placement get him into trouble.
2023 STATS: RB – 63.6 PB – 71.5
14. FERNANDO CARMONA (ARKANSAS) 6’5” 314 LBS.
Carmona started all 12 games as a redshirt freshman in 2022 for San Jose State. He improved a lot from 2022 to 2023 cutting his pressures in half. He also showed improvement as a run blocker. He transferred to Arkansas for the 2024 season and is projected to be the starting left tackle.
2023 STATS: RB – 78.9 PB - 81
15. JALEN RIVERS (MIAMI) 6’6” 325 LBS.
Rivers saw action in 7 games as a true freshman in 2020. Was the starting left guard going from 2021 to 2022 before kicking over to left tackle last season. Fully healthy in 2023 he earned 2nd team All-ACC honors. Rivers appears to have good length on film. He has held up well at both guard and tackle. He is just an average athlete and maybe better suited for guard at the next level.
2023 STATS: RB – 70.2 PB – 73.5
SLEEPER
DAMETRIOUS CROWNOVER (TEXAS A&M) 6’7” 315 LBS.
Going into last season we had Rueben Fatheree on this list of tackles. He was injured and missed the 2023 season. Redshirt sophomore got to start 6 games and played in all 13. He was a tight end and basketball player in high school. He is a natural athlete who looks to have rare length on film. I like his upside and he graded out very well in both run blocking and pass blocking.
2023 STATS: RB – 78.9 PB – 71.3
