1. TRAVIS HUNTER (COLORADO) 6’0” 185 LBS.
Hunter is a former five-star and #1 recruit in the country. Right now he is one of the country's best corners and one of the best receivers. The first thing that stands out about Hunter is his quick-twitch athleticism. He also possesses excellent ball skills for a corner. He is a good student and in excellent game shape playing 1,074 snaps in nine games.
2023 STATS: 30 TACKLES – 8 PBU – 3 INT
2. WILL JOHNSON (MICHIGAN) 6’2” 206 LBS.
Johnson has been as good as any corner in his first two seasons. He was a freshman all-American in 2022 picking off three passes. Johnson is a smart corner with good ball and route recognition skills. He Plays mostly zone but when asked to play man you see him stay in phase with receivers.
2023 STATS: 27 TACKLES – 8 PBU – 4 INT
3. BENJAMIN MORRISON (NOTRE DAME) 6’0” 186 LBS.
Morrison came in as a true freshman in 2022 and finished 2nd in the nation with 6 interceptions. He is a physical corner who likes to challenge receivers. He does a good job in both zone and man coverage.
2023 STATS: 31 TACKLES – 13 PBU – 3 INT
4. SHAVON REVEL (EAST CAROLINA) 6’3” 185 LBS.
Revel spent his first two years in Junior College and joined East Carolina in 2022. Surprisingly, he did not transfer after the season he had in 2023. Revel is a physical freak with his combination of size and athleticism. He primarily plays zone for East Carolina but has looked good in limited reps in man coverage. He was willing to come up and support the run and did a good job as a tackler.
2023 STATS: 55 TACKLES – 12 PBU – 1 INT
5. DENZEL BURKE (OHIO STATE) 5’11” 193 LBS.
Burke was a player we were not as high coming into the 2023 season. He ended up having his best year last year. He is a tough zone corner who does a good job of keeping things in front and closing in on ball carriers. Not the biggest or most athletic but is a tough and smart corner.
2023 STATS: 24 TACKLES – 9 PBU – 1 INT
6. ZEMIAH VAUGHN (UTAH) 6’2” 187 LBS.
Vaughn is a former walk-on back in 2020, he has been a durable player playing in 45 games with 24 starts. Vaughn appears to have good length, height and is a physical and competitive corner. He did a good job tackling, defending the run, and blitzing. Shows quick feet, closing speed, and stays in phase with receivers. His ball skills are not the best doesn’t get turned around with 2 career interceptions.
2023 STATS: 53 TACKLES – 7 PBU - 1 INT
7. JASON MARSHALL (FLORIDA) 6’0” 205 LBS.
Jason Marshall was a former five-star recruit in the 2021 class. Going into the 2023 season we thought if he had a good year, he could be the top corner in the draft. He has the size, speed,
and physicality to be a good corner. His ball skills need work. He has trouble locating the football and drops interceptions. He was targeted 38 times and gave up only 17 receptions, but those 17 receptions went for 412 yards.
2023 STATS: 26 TACKLES – 10 PBU – 0 INT
8. MAXWELL HAIRSTON (KENTUCKY) 6’1” 181 LBS.
Hairston red-shirted in 2021 and played primarily on special teams in 2022. Hairston came out of nowhere to tie for the SEC lead in interceptions. A tough zone corner that does a good job closing and breaking on routes. Did a good job as a tackler giving up only 74 yards after the catch.
2023 STATS: 67 TACKLES – 11 PBU – 5 INT
9. TICARIO DAVIS (ARIZONA) 6’4” 195 LBS.
Davis played in five games as a freshman in 2022. Last year he played in 13 games with 11 starts earning 2nd team all PAC-12. Davis possesses rare length and does a good job of using it. He has good instincts and ball skills. He has some tightness and tough to tell about his recovery speed. Davis did not look eager to tackle or deliver big hits.
2023 STATS: 25 TACKLES – 16 PBU – 1 INT
10. JABBAR MUHAMMED (OREGON) 5’10” 183 LBS.
Muhammed is at his third school in three years. He has been productive as a starting corner for Oklahoma State and Washington where he was tied for 2nd in the nation's total pass breakups. He is a good athlete with quick feet and is an excellent competitor.
2023 STATS: 46 TACKLES – 19 PBU – 3 INT
11. DOMANI JACKSON (ALABAMA) 6’0” 190 LBS.
Jackson is a former five-star who spent his first two seasons at USC. He missed the majority of his Senior season in high school with a knee injury. Jackson didn’t do much as a freshman but started 11 games for USC in 2023. The length, strength, and speed jump out on film. He has the potential to work himself up to the top of this list with his traits.
2023 STATS: 33 TACKLES – 3 PBU
12. DAVISON IGBINOSUN (OHIO STATE) 6’2” 193 LBS.
Igbinosun started his career at Ole Miss, earning freshman all-American in 2022. Physically an impressive corner that led the team in snaps. Like what he did as a tackler and as a run defender. You see him bite on double moves and his ball skills are questionable with zero interceptions.
2023 STATS: 59 TACKLES – 5 PBU – 0 INT
13. QUINCY RILEY (LOUISVILLE) 5’11” 185 LBS.
Quincy Riley spent three years at Middle Tennessee State where he red-shirted in 2019. He had a great year in 2021 with 5 interceptions and 14 PBU earning 1st team Conference USA. He transferred to Louisville in 2022 and picked off three passes in his first season. He primarily plays zone where his anticipation and ball skills have helped him pick off 13 passes. When he did line up in man coverage, he did a good job of sticking on his man. He was targeted 63 times and allowed only 23 completions, for a QB rating of 37.2.
2023 STATS: 49 TACKLES – 14 PBU – 3 INT
14. DAYLEN EVERETTE (GEORGIA) 6’1” 190 LBS.
Everette was a five-star prospect in the 2022 class and played in 14 of 15 games as a true freshman. Became a starter last season and is another corner with good size and athleticism. He showed good physicality in coverage and vs the run. There were times he struggled to locate the football.
2023 STATS: 29 TACKLES – 6 PBU – 1 INT
15. COBEE BRYANT (KANSAS) 6’0” 170 LBS.
Bryant has been a starter since a true freshman at Kansas in 2021. Led the team in interception in 2022 and tied for the team lead in 2022. Bryant is a tough and competitive corner that looks to challenge receivers and supports the run. A player who is fun to watch but we have concerns about his speed and weight.
2023 STATS: 32 TACKLES – 5 PBU – 4 INT
SLEEPER
TORIANO PRIDE (MISSOURI) 5’11” 190 LBS.
Pride has only one career start in his first two seasons as a Clemson Tiger. It was an impressive performance with 7 tackles and 3 PBU. He is a twitchy athlete with good physicality and speed. He had an interception in Missouri’s spring game.
2023 STATS: 20 TACKLES – 5 PBU
AZAREYE THOMAS (FLORIDA STATE) 6’2” 194 LBS.
Thomas rotated as a corner last season playing 393 snaps. He shows good route recognition and good length helped him get his hands on a lot of balls. He had good production in limited reps and with Renardo Green and Jarrian Jones gone to the NFL Thomas should have a breakout season.
